 Post subject: Writing A Kernel For The First Time

I though this was humorous, although some would argue otherwise. I tried to convey my exact thoughts but unfortunately I was not able too so maybe your imagination is as good as mine because I am sure this is not the real reasons these are in this order. :P

# Main Page (21,041 views) - I'm interested. :D
# Projects (15,667 views) - Who else does this? :o
# Resources (4,599 views) - I need something, not sure what. :shock:
# Kernels (2,937 views) - What is a kernel exactly and what will mine be? 8)
# MBR (x86) (2,920 views) - I found out I need to boot it from a disk. :roll:
# Assembly (2,836 views) - I know no nothing about ASM. :?
# Getting Started (2,701 views) - I need a tutorial. :x
# Memory management (2,682 views) - My new and delete won't work. :cry:
# C PlusPlus (2,602 views) - I thought I knew the language. :evil:
# OS development (2,045 views) - What exactly am I doing.. again.. :(
# Text UI (1,842 views) - Alright. Simple is the name of the game. :)
# Tool Comparison (1,790 views) - GCC is complaining too much. :x
# Prerequisites (1,773 views) - I think I am in too deep. :(
# Books (1,744 views) - There is hope.. books are good?

I think I'm at the Text UI level right now. Keep it simple.. hahaha Tried to do my gui and instead ended up with a mode 13h GUI that looks like an old DOS game...

Hey! Don't diss the old school! I'm porting Descent 1 to my OS, it runs in mode 13h
